Letter from the Queen?

Greetings, my dear friends and fellow chroniclers of the peculiar! Eldrin Nightshade here, having just unearthed a rather exquisite (and delightfully demanding) piece of correspondence from my recent temporal deliveries. As you may recall from my last musings, even the most illustrious figures from history occasionally find their way to The Seventh Atelier's order desk.
And so it was, just yesterday, that a scroll of remarkable provenance fluttered into my dimension. Its script, though elegant, betrayed a certain... urgency, and its scent, a delicate blend of rosewater and impending historical significance. It was, of course, from the one and only Marie Antoinette, penned in the fateful year of 1788.
She, it seems, was in dire need of a particular kind of solace, one that only the finest of brews could provide. I present to you, in its full, unedited glory, the very missive that prompted my selection of our 'Evening Star' for her royal (and perhaps, soon-to-be-complicated) palate:
To the Esteemed and Doubtless Eccentric Proprietor of The Seventh Atelier,
My dearest Sir (or Madam, for one can never be certain of titles in these... unconventional establishments),
Word of your peculiar emporium, whispered by a rather flustered courtier who claimed to have stumbled through a particularly charming hedge, has finally reached my chambers here at Versailles. And I must confess, my curiosity is piqued.
Life, as you may imagine, is a ceaseless whirl of engagements, fashions, and the incessant chatter of those who seem to possess an alarming preoccupation with... bread. One finds oneself in constant need of diversion, of escape, of something truly divine to lift the spirits above the mundane.
Therefore, I require a blend. A concoction of such exquisite frivolity, it might make one forget the very notion of... bread. Indeed, let it possess a lightness, a delicate sweetness, that transports the senses to a realm of pure, unadulterated pleasure.
Perhaps something with a hint of candied violet? Yes, that would be utterly charming. And the whisper of a thousand forgotten garden parties, those moments of pure, untroubled joy. Let it be ethereal, yet utterly captivating.
And do ensure it pairs splendidly with a very small, very expensive cake. One simply must have the proper accompaniment, even when one is... distracted.
I trust your alchemical prowess is as formidable as your reputation suggests. Dispatch this elixir with the utmost haste, for the weight of expectation (and the sheer volume of bread talk) grows ever heavier.
Yours, with the most delicate of anticipations,
Marie Antoinette Queen of France and Navarre Versailles, 1788
A most illuminating glimpse into the royal psyche, wouldn't you agree? It is a constant marvel, the desires that transcend time and dimension, all seeking solace in a perfectly crafted brew. And rest assured, my friends, The Seventh Atelier is ever ready to answer such calls, no matter the era!
Until our next temporal delivery,
